The new achievement by Khalifa Foundation represented in commencement of operation of Alama Power Plant with a capacity of 1.5MW has caused a wide positive feedback. In return, people expressed their happiness and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation for this significant and critical project.
Khalifa Foundation, through Dexam Power and Water Technology, replaced all underground cables of Musaqbahen and 30th November, and replaced the damaged overhead lines, which caused suffering of people of this district due to weak frequency.
Socotra Online was present to reflect feedback of social influencers and people of this district. Sheikh Ahmed Ghaleb bin Yaqoub, Head of Tribal Union of the Western Coastline, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the United Arab Emirates and Khalifa Foundation for such significant project, which would help in provision of uninterrupted electricity to people of the Western Coastline.
Sheikh Ali Salem, Identifier of Qadeb and Nawahi, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to sheikhs of the United Arab Emirates for operation of this power station, which would provide people with uninterrupted electricity.
Mr. Mohamed Al Youssfi, Head of Election Center of Daihmed, thanked the United Arab Emirates and Khalifa Foundation for the great effort to complete power connection to other districts in the western coastline.
Mohamed Abdullah Al Daxemi, Director of Office of Former Socotra Governor, commended role of the United Arab Emirates and Khalifa Foundation in development of the Socotra Archipelago, and highlighted that people of Socotra were proud of presence of the UAE teams in Socotra to help people.
Salem Maadnahen expressed his thanks and gratitude to the United Arab Emirates and Khalifa Foundation for this important achievement.
