Khalifa Foundation teams continued distribution of food assistance to the families in 30th November District in Hadiboh in Socotra, from which hundreds of families in 25 avenues benefited, including rice, sugar, flour, oil, shahi, dates… etc.
During launch of distribution of food assistance, Sheikh Mohamed Abdullah Qayhan bin Tofel, Sheikh of Maanofa district, expressed his thanks and deep appreciation to the United Arab Emirates and its humanitarian hand Khalifa Foundation for the outstanding effort in supporting the people of Socotra. He also highlighted that the same would have positive impact on the families, especially the needy ones.
Sheikh Abdullah Gharib, Sheikh of Souq Gharib, expressed his happiness for arrival of vehicles of assistance of Khalifa Foundation with the help for the people of Socotra. He also thanked Khalifa Foundation and people of the United Arab Emirates for the great support to the people of Socotra including food assistance.
Sheikh Ali Abdullah highlighted that the efforts provided by the United Arab Emirates were in different fields and tangible through the developmental, service and relief projects, which would help in achievement of stability of life in the Socotra Archipelago.
