The relief team at Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation continues its course across districts and villages of Qalansiyah despite the bad weather and strong south wind known as “Autumn Wind”.
The team works hard on making all people in Socotra happy in line with the plan of Khalifa Foundation in relation with promotion of charity and humanitarian support. The plan targeted 370 families in Muraba 5 in Qalansiyah in addition to 13 villages across Qalansiyah.
The UAE relief team was largely welcomed by the people of Qalansiyah. Mr. Ali Suliman Farag said that this humanitarian work was not the first and it was preceded by many humanitarian activities.
He asserted that Khalifa Foundation provided the people of the Socotra Archipelago with support in developmental and service fields.
In this regard, Dr. Omar Mubarak bin Qablan thanked Khalifa Foundation for this generous support by Khalifa Foundation, especially during these four days with this bad weather.
