In line with the humanitarian activities by the United Arab Emirates to help people of Socotra, teams of Khalifa Foundation, with presence of Sultan Ali Essa bin Afrar, Head of Development Committee at Khalifa Foundation in Socotra, continued distribution of food assistance to the remaining districts in the western coastline of Socotra (Sheikh Zayed, Qashro, Salmaho, Ablahen, Ajman, and Sarefa). Food assistance included flour, rice, dates, oil, sugar, salt, tea, and other essentials.
Socotra Online was present to reflect feedback of people. Sheikh Arif Saeed Abdullah expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates and its hands of charity for making people of Socotra happy and helping them during hard times.
Sheikh Ali Saleh bin Ahmed expressed happiness of all people of Sheikh Zayed District for arrival of this humanitarian assistance, which people of Socotra used to witness from the UAE. He also commended achievements by the UAE in Socotra.
Sheikh Ahmed Ghaleb bin Yaqoob, Head of Tribal Union of the Western Coastline, highlighted that people of the western coastline received such food assistance with presence of Sultan Ali Essa bin Afrar, Head of Development Committee at Khalifa Foundation.
