For the seventh consecutive day, Khalifa Foundation continued distribution of Ramadan meals to the passing by and residents of different districts across the Socotra Archipelago.
An Official at Khalifa Foundation highlighted that this initiative, in which field teams of Khalifa Foundation participated, was in line with the series of voluntarily initiatives to help people of Socotra and promote Islamic values and cooperation spirit.
In turn, people of Socotra commended role of the UAE in helping people at all times and in all fields.
It was worth noting that Khalifa Foundation launched “Fast Breaking” Initiative to distribute iftar meals to people years ago, from which many families and individuals benefited. In addition, Khalifa Foundation concerned with distribution of iftar meals to the orphans in Zayed City in Socotra starting from day one of Ramadan.
