Yesterday evening, the first round of the Seven-a-side football and volleyball Ramadan tournaments, organized by the Federation branch with the support of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, was concluded.
The results of the Socotra seven-a-side football tournament during the first round resulted in the Al-Jumhoor victory over Al-Ain with two clean goals, and the Al-Najm Al-Saheli defeated Al-Wasl 3-0 in the first group, and in the second group, Al-Sharq tied with Al-Jazira with a goal each. Al-Ahly overcame Al-Nasr 2-1 in the third group, and in the fourth group, Al-Wahda beat Al-Talia two goals to one, and Al-Hilal over Al-Mina by four goals to two goals.
In the Archipelago volleyball championship, Al-Jumhoor and Al Wasl defeated Al Ain and Al-Najm Al-Saheli in two clean rounds in each confrontation in the first group, Al Jazeera, and Nujed over Al-Sharq. Dam Al-Akhwen was the same in the third competitions. In the fourth group, Al Wahda beat Al Taliah in two rounds, and Al Mina beat Al Hilal in two clean rounds for nothing.
The second round of the two tournaments starts today with the first group competitions, where Al Ain Al Ittihad will face Al Ittihad in the first match and Al Sahel Al Sahel fans in the second match.
The competitions of the two championships witnessed a large audience, sports interaction and great competition for the participating teams.
