The people of Socotra are gathered more than ever to participate in the cleaning campaigns launched by Khalifa Foundation aiming at awareness-raising to maintain the environment after many violations and problems.
For many years, Khalifa Foundation implemented a comprehensive cleaning campaign in different districts and streets in Hadiboh and other districts. Many people participated in this campaign to remove solid and plastic waste. The campaign removed tens of tons of waste from streets of the governorate to the public waste dump.
Over years, the people of Socotra expressed their thanks and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation for cleaning streets of Socotra in addition to implementing many developmental projects to achieve stability.
The campaign was largely welcomed by the people of the Socotra Archipelago, as they removed the waste surrounding their shops, homes, and streets that caused many diseases.
