Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation completed relief project in 30th November in the Socotra Capital Hadiboh in line with the effort of Khalifa Foundation in implementing the relief program in different districts and villages across the Socotra Archipelago to help thousands of families by arranging their essential food.
Khalifa Foundation arranged food assistance to 7 districts in 30th November District (Al Salam, Musabqabhen, Al Lo’lo’, Al Noor, Al Wafaa, Al Sahli, and Al Sabie) for the benefit of 402 families. The food assistance included (rice, sugar, flour, oil, tea, and dates).
Socotra Online met group of people to reflect their opinion about the relief program. Ahmed Mubarak Al Amari expressed his happiness for receiving such food assistance that would help him in arranging his food during this hard time.
Mr. Abdel Ghani Nasser Abdullah said that the UAE humanitarian foundations used to help the people of Socotra for years, and expressed his happiness for such food assistance and his deep appreciation.
Amer Salem Ali highlighted the great role of Khalifa Foundation and its outstanding support to the people of Socotra. He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to the leaders and people of the United Arab Emirates represented by Khalifa Foundation.
It was worth noting that teams of Khalifa Foundation worked hard to provide the people of Socotra with all their needs.
