Humanitarian hands of UAE in Socotra, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation and Emirates Red Crescent completed distribution of humanitarian assistance in districts and villages of western coastline yesterday. Assistance included blankets, clothes, shoes, stationary, kid gifts, and dates, from which 660 families in Qadeb, Nugher and Kadeh were benefited.
Sheikh Ali Salem “Sheikh of Hafet Muri” said that the humanitarian hand of UAE in Socotra “Khalifa Foundation” was characterized with distributing support to all districts in Socotra and including all community classes without exceptions.
Mr. Ahmed Saeed Khamis expressed his appreciation to the United Arab Emirates with its humanitarian hands (Emirates Red Crescent and Khalifa Foundation) for the outstanding effort in helping people of Socotra.
Abdul Aziz Suliman Ali, resident in Qadeb, mentioned that the United Arab Emirates has been initiator in supporting and helping people of Socotra in different fields and life requirements. Few days to Ramadan, and we can witness Khalifa Foundation distributes assistance to people of Socotra to arrange requirements for Ramadan.
