The committees of Football Association and Sport Clubs in the Socotra Archipelago received the financial provisions for the 4th Nujed Football Championship yesterday. It was submitted by Khalifa Foundation supporting the sport activities on the Island.
Clubs that won the first three positions were honored with financial awards in presence of Captain Ismail Al Junaibi, Sport Official at Khalifa Foundation; Ahmed Hazoom, Head of Football Association Office in Socotra; and Saleh Ali Mohsen, Secretary General. In addition, all clubs were supported with financial provisions for transportation and rewards for administrators, trainers, assistants, and players as well as committees participating in organization (competitions, referees, services, and media) as appreciation for their effort in succeeding such championship.
Ahmed Hazoom, Head of Football Association Office in Socotra, asserted that Sport Sector at Khalifa Foundation was an essential and main factor for encouragement of sport sector, and highlighted that the 4th Nujed Football Championship was one of the distinguishable championships organized by the Association Office in Socotra and supported by Khalifa Foundation.
In turn, heads of sport clubs expressed their thanks and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation for the continuous support to clubs and organization of different sport activities.
