The civil defense team of the Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation in Socotra managed to put out a fire that broke out in one of the workshops in the capital, Hadiboh, as a result of a short circuit caused by the generator of the workshop.
The civil defense team received a report that a fire broke out in one of the private workshops. Immediately, an action was taken and the incident was dealt with.
It is noteworthy that the firefighting and rescue team has made great contributions to putting out many of the fires that occur in Socotra, and this is evidence of the keenness of the Sheikh Khalifa Foundation in rehabilitating and training the Socotra firefighting team with high skills and competencies that help them on how to deal with fires and other disasters.
