The teams of civil defense of Khalifa Foundation put out a fire in a building of two floors; ground and first floors, at dawn of today.
An official in the civil defense team of Khalifa Foundation said that they received a report on a fire accident in the capital Hadiboh at 01:30 AM on Friday 20/03/2020. Upon arrival to the place of accident, it was noticed that the building consisted of two floors; ground and first floor. The team put out the fire within 20 minutes.
He added that the team put out the fire and worked on cooling the place until the early morning. The team was supported by two different stations in addition to the logistic support of Khalifa Foundation.
The people of Socotra praised the speed of putting out the fire and limiting it before reaching to the neighboring buildings.
In turn, the civil defense of Khalifa Foundation asked the people and owners of stores to avoid storing goods in an inappropriate way and comply with the safety requirements.
