The Civil Defense of Khalifa Foundation immediately moved, after a report of a fire at 09:10 pm on Tuesday 3rd of August 2021, to one of stores near to Socotra Institute for Training and Consultation. The team of civil defense handled the situation and put out the fire.
It was worth noting that the fire was erupted due to short circuit of some random connections. The team members could put out the fire without any injuries.
It was worth noting that the team of firefighting and rescue had several contributions in Socotra, as Khalifa Foundation was concerned with qualifying and training the firefighting team in Socotra to help in fires and other crises.
