The University of Socotra, as part of its ongoing activities, launched a chess tournament for its scientific departments, with the support of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation.
The tournament will continue on 7-8 of this month, with the participation of all the scientific departments of the university, amid a distinguished competition and great follow-up by the university’s employees.
The results of the first day resulted in the victory of the student of the Information Technology Department over the student of the Department of Management and Economics, as well as the victory of the Information Technology student over the Information Systems student.
The University of Socotra Archipelago is keen to continue its scientific and sports programs in accordance with the university’s scientific plan to create an appropriate atmosphere for its students.
