Charity teams of Khalifa Foundation continues their effort in different villages and districts in Socotra that suffer from lack of water. Tanks of water of Khalifa Foundation reached to Salmaho, Watar and Datrar in west of Socotra including tens of thousands of potable water.
An official at Khalifa Foundation mentioned that teams of Khalifa Foundation provided 2 million 199 thousand 500 liters of potable water to cover needs of 9 districts across Socotra (Laska, West Coast, Qabahaten, Amdahen, Dexim, Bawadi, Qalansiyah, Nujed, Shoaab, and Darkbwa) that have suffered from lack of water for two weeks.
The official highlighted that efforts of the field teams continued its effort in provision of water to mitigate suffering of people, as they had to purchase water for large amounts.
In this regard, the people of Socotra expressed their appreciation and thanks to the United Arab Emirates and Khalifa Foundation for their concern with provision of potable water for the districts that suffered from lack of water.
