In line with the role of the school in relation with encouraging students to protect environment, the students participating in the summer camp in Ataya Model School presented an awareness-raising theater activity on importance of protection of environment. The play highlighted pollution and ways of protection of environment as a global subject.
The play, which was written by the teaching staff and school administration organizing the summer camp for primary school students, presented advices to children in relation with environment protection.
The play also highlighted the importance of the environmental education aiming at helping children to recognize their environmental problems and improve their skills in addition to providing them with positive values and trends.
The role players mentioned that they presented a message to raise awareness of people in relation with protection of environment and avoiding throwing waste and plastics in streets.
Student Said Salem, who played the farmer, said that protection of environment shall be done by all people who all should bear responsibility.
The play proved that the student should be learnt all information about his surrounding environment through several activities that help students in understanding and discovering their surrounding.
