Ataya Model Primary School in Socotra proved that it would be considered as an appropriate academic environment for the primary stages. With beginning of the current year, the student flow for registration has become the common story in streets of Socotra. It was worth noting that the school was constructed, opened and finished by generous UAE support during the last year. The school has different academic plan now aiming at qualifying and caring for students for better future for Socotra.
Amal Saeed Saad, Principal of Ataya Model School, asserted that the school would be ready for the new academic year, which would constitute a core for big graduation project to help the Socotra Archipelago. She also highlighted that the school would work on adding new classrooms for the following years in accordance with its vision towards maintaining the academic level of students until university.
The work of Ataya Model School with full and generous support by Khalifa Foundation would continue for support and development of education infrastructure in Socotra. The school was established and provided with up-to-date devices helping in academic course in order to achieve hopes of students in Socotra to have new and up-to-date school. Thereupon, it would contribute to achievement of better future for Socotra.
Khalifa Foundation seeks for achievement of outstanding transformation in field of education in Socotra by following plans and programs that would improve the academic process in Socotra.
