Water tanks of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation has targeted the districts and villages of Dexam in line with the initiative of Suqia Campaign.
Mahmoud Al Bairaq, Coordinator of Suqia Campaign at Khalifa Foundation, highlighted that the campaign launched by leaders of the United Arab Emirates to support the people of Socotra was in line with series of humanitarian and service projects implemented by the United Arab Emirates represented by Khalifa Foundation in order to provide the people of Socotra with potable water. He also added that since launch of the initiative, water tanks of Khalifa Foundation used to travel for long distances to provide the people with potable water.
In this regard, the people of Dexam welcomed the water tanks and teams of Khalifa Foundation with thanks and appreciation for the great effort in providing them with the necessary potable water in regular basis.
It was worth noting that Khalifa Foundation contributes to help the people of Socotra across the central, western and desert areas due to lack of water.
