Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation sent a group of vehicles with a load of food for people of Shoab in west Socotra including rice, flour, sugar, tea, oil, and salt. This assistance was in line with the continuous humanitarian initiatives sponsored by the United Arab Emirates to help people of Socotra in arranging their humanitarian, social, cultural, service, and developmental needs.
In turn, People of Socotra welcomed arrival of such humanitarian assistance, which would reflect the deep relationship between UAE and Socotra, and asserted that UAE has been the main supporter to people of Socotra in different fields.
