Team of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation continues its tasks in relation with Suqia Campaign in different districts across Socotra that suffer from lack of water. Yesterday, the team provided the people of Hamorah in Qabhaten with potable water to support the people in the district. In addition, the charity people in UAE supported the district of Hamorah with more than 15 folds for 150 meters to connect water from the well drilled by Khalifa Foundation to Aarab in Qabhaten.
In an exclusive statement to Socotra Online, Sheikh Mohamed Abdullah Shalolha highlighted that Suqia Campaign could reach to Hamorah District to provide the people with potable water, as they suffered from lack of potable water. He also added that Khalifa Foundation has been the supporter to the people of Socotra in different fields. The people expressed their happiness and appreciation for arrival of the team of the campaign, which lasted for three months.
Sheikh Mubarak Abdullah expressed his thanks and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation for its outstanding support to Socotra in general and Qabhaten in particular through drilling wells to provide the people with potable water, especially during the season of autumn, in which Socotra witnesses lack of water.
Ahmed Hazmahi mentioned that the campaign reached to Hamorah with support of Khalifa Foundation, which launched this campaign to provide potable water to all people across Socotra.
