In line with the efforts of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, the team of the Foundation checked group of projects in Qalansiyah. The team visited Qalansiyah Hospital and checked all departments. After meeting Dr. Ahmed Saad Al Qadomi, Hospital Manager, the team assured that Khalifa Foundation would provide the hospital with all needs and requirements in order to contribute to treat and serve the people of Qalansiyah and its suburbs.
Furthermore, the team checked Qalansiyah bridge, which was collapsed due to the tropical depression resulting in blocking the way and many accidents.
Engineer Sabah Mohamed AbdelKareem, Engineer at Khalifa Foundation, highlighted that the work relating to bridge maintenance would start during the following days after the end of the rain season, and would end within thirty days in accordance with the study carried out by the Foundation.
Team of Khalifa Foundation visited power and gas stations, and Engineer “Yasser Al Ani”, Director of Dexim Power, asserted that the power lines would of Qaiso village would be linked to Qalansiyah power network, and all internal overhead lines would be changed and replaced with underground cables.
In this regard, Engineer “Mubarak Jamaan Bahwarth”, Director of Electricity in Qalansiyah, assured that the power witnessed a significant transformation working for 12 hours with five transformers of 250 K.A.F. instead of three old transformers of 50 K.A.F. He also mentioned that Dexim Power completed the first phase of the underground cable.
At the end, the team of Khalifa Foundation announced that the Foundation approved many developmental projects including the solar power project of 1.5 mega in the first phase, and then 2 mega.
In this regard, Mr. Mazen Saleh Moaz, one of the residents in Qalansiyah, expressed his happiness for these projects announced by Khalifa Foundation, and expressed his thanks to Khalifa Foundation and His Excellency Khalfan Al Mazrouei for the effort and support through their developmental and humanitarian projects.
Asaad Musabah Jamaan, Imam of a mosque in Qalansiyah, praised the continuous efforts of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation towards a bright future keeping up with the modern technology.
