Socotra Institute for Training and Consultation announces holding free training courses on transformation of plastic into works of art with support of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation.
The course will last for 10 with specialized trainers from (Italy, Ukraine and Sudan) to acquire children and youth from age of 7 to 18 years old practical skills in transformation of plastic into works of art that can be used in different aspects of life.
An official at Socotra Institute highlighted that the participants would be divided into groups, each group would be trained in specific day. 10 groups would be graduated during this period.
The course is very important to encourage community for utilizing plastic waste and avoiding disposal of the same in public places, as it largely harms environment, nature and unique green spaces in the Socotra Archipelago.
