The opening of the project witnessed the presence of the leadership of the local authority, sheikhs, dignitaries and social figures, in addition to the participation of women as they are an essential part of society, in confirmation of the importance of the project, which is one of the most important projects in the Directorate.
At the opening of the project, Muhammad Salem Qassem, Member of the Administrative Body of the Local Council in the district, said that the project was the first in the governorate and would contribute to the fact that it is a problem in the city of Qalansiyah in the absence of the problem of good water that they have suffered over the past years from salt water.
For his part, Yahya Moaz bin Hammoud, the Sheikh of the city of Qalansiyah, praised the efforts of the brothers in the UAE to quickly meet the needs of the people of Qalansiyah in providing a water desalination plant that works to overcome the previous suffering of citizens and find clean and healthy water for them.
