Al-Tali’a Sport Club snatched the third place in the football championship of the deceased Ahmed Abdullah bin Hamdoun Championship, which was organized by the branch of the Game Federation, with the support of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation.
This came after his victory yesterday at the stadium of the deceased, Saad Ali Salmeen in the capital, Hadiboh, against his counterpart Al-Mina, with a goal without a response, in the match to determine the third place in the championship.
The only goal of the match was scored by Mohamed Issa Ali in the 67th minute of the match, thus placing his team among those who reached the honoring podium in the final of the tournament and embracing the bronze medal.
The match witnessed a competitive atmosphere since its inception, and the two teams attempted to quickly reach each other’s goal to gain progress and ensure the result of the match and write his name among the honorees in the tournament.
The tournament will conclude next Friday with a fiery meeting between Al-Hilal and Radfan, amid great sports and public anticipation.
