Al-Sharq and Al-Ahly clubs have qualified for the quarter-finals of the third group competitions in the Ahmed Abdullah bin Hamdoun Football Championship, which is organized by the Game Association branch with the support of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation.
This came after the victory of the first in the third round over the blood of the two brothers on Friday with two clean goals, to raise his score to 7 points at the top of the group, while the latter tied with Al Sadd without goals and raised his score to 5 points and the runner-up for the group. Al Sadd and Dam of the two brothers also bid farewell to the championship.
The competition is still intense in the second group to grab the second card, after Al-Jazira won the first card with 9 points from 3 consecutive victories.
Where Radfan and Al Wasl compete for the second card, while they each have 4 points, and Al Wahda Club 3 points. The qualifiers will decide in the two group matches when Al Wahda faces Radfan next Tuesday, and Al Wasl with leaders Al Jazira on Wednesday.
Al-Hilal and Al-Mina SC qualified from the first group, and from the fourth group, Al-Talia and Nujed.
