Al-Hilal and Al-Mina clubs qualified for the eight round of the first group competitions in the Ahmed Bin Hamdoun Football Championship, organized by the Football Association branch with the support of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation.
Al Hilal qualified as the group leader with 7 points, with a draw against Al Mina with one goal each, and two wins against Etoile du Sahel with two goals and Al Ittihad with three goals for one, while Al Mina qualified as the group runner-up with 4 points, one goal ahead of Al Ittihad Club, the closest competitor.
In the second group, Al Jazira qualified early when they snatched three consecutive victories over Radfan and Al Jamhour with three clean goals, Al Wehda with a goal and collecting 9 points, and it is still a match with Al Wasl.
While the struggle for the second card is still going on between the clubs of the public, which holds 3 points, Al Wasl 4 points, and Al Wahda 3 points, and they have a match left, and Radfan, who has the point, has two matches.
The third group will decide its competitions this week, on Friday and Saturday, when Al-Ahly, the leader of the group with 4 points, faces the goal difference from Al-Ahly Al-Sadd, which holds 3 points, and Al-Sharq, which holds 4 points, is the blood of the two brothers without points.
The fourth group had decided its competitions at the end of the second round and announced the qualification of the vanguard and Nujed with 6 points each, and Al Nasr and Al Ain bid farewell to the championship.
