Al Helal SC qualified for the final match of the Fifth Sheikh Zayed Football Championship for Socotra Clubs, after it overtook Al Sharq Club yesterday evening, Sunday evening, in the semi-final round of the tournament, with a score of 2/4 on penalties, after they tied negatively in the original time of the match.
The match witnessed an accelerating rhythm and continuous attacks from both sides, with an advantage for the east, not all of which were useful to resolve the result in the original time, to smile strikes of luck for the aspiring crescent to embrace the fifth edition of the championship for the first time.
It will meet this evening in the second semi-final match, Al-Jazira, and we find the second party in the final.
Where the referee of the match was Abdul Qawi Ali Daheq, the referee of the field, his assistant Khaled Thani and Mujahid Saeed, the referee Abdul Rahim Ahmed, the fourth referee, and the referee Ismael Muhammad, the referees’ observer, and the match was watched by Fayez Abdullah.
The match was attended by the head of the General Football Federation, Ahmed Hazoum, Secretary-General Saleh Ali Mohsen, President of Al Sharq Club, Osan Jamaan, Sheikh Ali Salem Omar, Vice President of Al Sharq Club, and a number of sports personalities.
