Al-Ahly topped its third group in the Bin Hamdoun Football Championship with 4 points, with a goal difference from Al Sharq, which holds the same points.
This came after Al-Ahly club’s great victory over Dam Al-Akhawayn last Thursday with nine goals against one goal.
Al-Ahly will meet in the third and final round with Al-Sad, which holds 3 points, while Al-Sharq faces Dam Al-Akhawayn who are out of the competition.
In the fourth group, the two clubs, Nujed and Al-Talia, qualified for the second round of the tournament at the end of the second round over Al-Ain and Al-Nasr.
This came after the first defeated Al-Ain with a goal and the second over Al-Nasr with two goals to one.
Today, Sunday evening, Al-Wehda and Al-Mashoor clubs from the second group will open the third and final round matches in the group stage.
