Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation supported Sheikh Zayed Station 2 –Year of Tolerance with additional 3 MW to end electricity interruption.
Engineer Yasser Al Aani, Director of Dexim Power and Water Technology said that the added generator were in line with the plan developed by Dexim Power to promote the station and end the challenge of lack of power in some districts and extend lines to other districts, where Dexim Power was working to extend the underground cables.
He added that the teams were constantly working on improvement of the 4 stations on the Island to include as many villages and districts as possible, since these villages and districts were deprived from electricity for a long time. He highlighted that Dexim Power worked hard in different weather conditions to ensure electricity for the people with support of Khalifa Foundation.
