The UAE ship “Takreem” has started discharging its cargo at the Port of Socotra, carrying oil derivatives and the requirements of projects and service institutions in the Archipelago.
An official source told Socotra Online that the ship was carrying petroleum products and oil derivatives such as diesel, petroleum and natural gas to cover the requirements of the local market, as well as the requirements of the vital and service projects and institutions operated by the Corporation on the island.
He pointed out that this support comes within the framework of the Foundation’s efforts to develop Socotra and enhance its stability in terms of service and living.
For their part, the people of Socotra expressed their happiness for the arrival of the “Takreem” ship to the island for the good omens they bore in moving the wheel of development and providing their various life requirements. They appreciated the role of the UAE represented by the Khalifa Foundation in the archipelago and its constant keenness to provide the necessary requirements of its sons.
