38 Male and Female Students leave to Egypt for Bachelor Degree Funded by Khalifa Foundation

This Thursday, February 13, 2020, 38 male and female students left from Socotra International Airport on Yemeni plane to Egypt for Bachelor Degree funded by Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation.

This scholarship is the third scholarship in line with the concern with the education sector in the Socotra Archipelago aiming at development of Socotra.

Socotra Online reflected happiness of the students leaving from Socotra International Airport. Student Ahmed Arif said that his happiness was indescribable as standing in front of the gate of the Airport.

Student Mustafa Ali said that this was his life dream to study abroad and he worked hard on achievement of this dream. He said that this was not new for Khalifa Foundation and the people used to witness such initiatives by Khalifa Foundation.

Student Suhair Ramzi said that she dreamt of studying abroad and she could not imagine that this could be true. The dream has become true with support of Khalifa Foundation in Socotra.

Student Aisha Abdullah expressed her happiness for travelling to Egypt for Bachelor Degree and wished success for all male and female students. She also expressed her happiness and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation and its Representative His Excellency Khalfan Al Mazrouei.
