With support of Khalifa Foundation, the Hemodialysis Unit in Sheikh Khalifa Hospital provided services to 19 patients. In 2020, the Hemodialysis Unit provided patients with services over weeks in accordance with the highest safety and quality standards. The Hemodialysis Unit was opened in 2018 with support of Khalifa Foundation in line with the medical projects to provide people of Socotra with health care services.
Khalifa Foundation provided Sheikh Khalifa Hospital with modern medical devices to provide patients with renal failure with better services. In 2020, Khalifa Foundation concerned with provided the necessary medical care to all patients with renal failure. In accordance with statistics of Sheikh Khalifa Hospital, Hemodialysis Unit implemented 699 hemodialysis sessions to 19 patients of people of Socotra.
