For the third successive day, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation assigns its food assistance teams to reach to the Muraba 3 and Muraba 4 in Qalansiyah for providing the people with this assistance. 385 families will benefit from this assistance that includes main consumer goods for autumn season, as the Socotra Archipelago will be isolated away from the world.
Mr. Ali Faisal Al Baseri, Sheikh of Maala, mentioned to Socotra Online that people of Qalansiyah are very happy for arrival of such assistance provided by the United Arab Emirates. It is not new as the people of Socotra used to receive this from the United Arab Emirates represented by Khalifa Foundation. He also expressed his appreciation to Khalifa Foundation for this effort.
Mr. Ali Mubarak Qablan, Officer in-charge in Muraba 3, that the people receive such assistance every year, and expressed his appreciation to the United Arab Emirates for this great effort.
It Saleh Ahmed, Supervisor in Muraba 4, mentioned that they received the assistance, and they would distribute the assistance in accordance with the approved lists.
It was worth noting that Khalifa Foundation works on a schedule to cover all districts of Qalansiyah with daily basis.
