Happiness and joy are still in everywhere across Socotra for the return of UAE “Royal Jet” Flights, as the people of Socotra consider it as major for life and humanity of people of the Socotra Archipelago. The Royal Jet is very important in relation with provision of requirements for vital sectors and facilitation of transportation of people of Socotra living in the United Arab Emirates. In addition, it provides significant services in relation with transportation of patients that cannot be treated in Socotra to be treated and subject to care in Abu Dhabi on expenses of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation.
In this regard, Socotra Online met group of people of Socotra, and was the first in the site, as they thanked Allah for return of the flights of Royal Jet after six months of suspension. Khalifa Foundation had a great role in facilitating return of people to their islands.
Kamal Saad highlighted that arrival of “Royal Jet” flight was a rescue for the people to end their suffering, and commended the role of the United Arab Emirates, which the whole people witnessed.
Ahmed Mohamed Al Ghatnani, one of people of Socotra and resident in UAE, expressed his happiness for return of Royal Jet flights after six months of suspension, and highlighted that the plane would transport large number of people living in the United Arab Emirates to Socotra, who were stranded due to suspension of flights.
Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Hadeed expressed his deep appreciation and thanks to the leaders and people of the United Arab Emirates for their large contribution to mitigation of suffering of people of Socotra and transportation of patients to the United Arab Emirates to be treated there. He said that the people of Socotra considered the plane of “Royal Jet” as a train of love and peace, as it always transported good news and its return meant return of life to the Island.
