The final exams for secondary school students were launched in Qalansiyah Secondary School in Socotra with large official and student presence. Exam circumstances were prepared to provide students with proper conditions including revising lessons with support of Khalifa Foundation for two weeks.
During launch of exams, Mr. Raid Mohamed Nasser Al Juraibi, Senior Governor Deputy, commended effort of education directorate and exam committee in motivating students to attend the exams. He also commended the great role by Khalifa Foundation in education sector in genera.
In turn, Mr. Saad Al Jadmihi, Director of Education Office in Qalansiyah, indicated that the education office completed all procedures relating to exams and highlighted that 118 male and female students attended the exam. He also thanked sheikhs and charity teams of UAE for the generous support.
Mr. Essa Al Hakmi, Director General of Qalansiyah and Abd Al Kuri, motivated student to afford more effort to have high grades during the final exams. He also expressed his appreciation to Khalifa Foundation for the effort in improving education in the Socotra Archipelago.
It was worth noting that Khalifa Foundation has paid significant attention and concern to education in Socotra through provision of schoolbooks, chairs, tables, and teachers, in addition to construction and rehabilitation of schools.
