The United Arab Emirates keeps its developmental and humanitarian assistance to Socotra through its humanitarian hands; Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation and Emirates Red Crescent. Mayha and its 30 remote villages received generous assistance by Khalifa Foundation and Emirates Red Crescent, as they distributed winter relief materials including blankets, shoes, clothes and Baby Joy (diapers), from which 349 families benefited.
Socotra Online was present to reflect feedback of people. Mr. Saad Essa Musalam, Identifier of Mayha, expressed appreciation and gratitude to the United Arab Emirates for the great support to people of Socotra.
He also thanked Khalifa Foundation and its humanitarian teams for delivering such assistance to people of Mayha.
In turn, Sheikh Suliman Ahmed Damooq commended the great humanitarian and developmental role of Khalifa Foundation and Emirates Red Crescent in helping people of Socotra.
He also expressed his deep appreciation to all UAE teams for the outstanding effort and great concern with delivering assistance to people of Socotra.
During distribution, people of Mayha expressed their thanks and appreciation to people and sheikhs of the United Arab Emirates.
