1811 School Books for Students of Different Grades in Schools of Dexam in Socotra

Schools of Dexam in the center of Socotra Island was under concern of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation. Khalifa Foundation provided students of different grades in schools of Dexam in Socotra with school books. Team of Khalifa Foundation distributed school books to four schools in Dexam; Shebhan School, Abu Obaida Al Jarah School, Al Mazrouei School, and Imam Muslim Tadiaa School. 1811 school books were distributed to 445 students yesterday. Books were distributed as follows: 180 primary stage students in Shabhen School, who received 373 books; 81 secondary stage students, who received 628 books; 136 primary stage students in Abu Obaida Al Jarah School, who received 540 books; 56 primary stage students in Al Mazrouei School, who received 117 books; 73 primary stage students in Imam Muslim Tadiaa School, who received 153 books.

Abdullah Ahmed Essa, Coordinator of Office of Ministry of Education in Socotra at Khalifa Foundation, highlighted that distribution of school books was in line with a plan set by Khalifa Foundation to access to all schools to provide them with school books, which would be a significant addition to their knowledge gaining process.

In this regard, Mr. Saad Salem Abdullah, Principal of Shabhen School, mentioned that provision of the school books for students would be effective in improvement of their knowledge gaining process and would motivate them to study and follow up their lessons constantly.

Furthermore, Ahmed Amer Saad highlighted that provision of the school books was an initiative that reflected concern of Khalifa Foundation with solving problems that would hinder the educational process.
