Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Hospital in Socotra launched the official operation of the CT Scan Device of GI Type after provision of the specialized medical team, and the Hospital received the patients who was in need for the CT Scan services.
Dr. Khamis Bahentosh mentioned that the device would be considered as one of the diagnosis devices, and would be very important in diagnosis of diseases and type of injury. The device would scan the whole body parts, whether spine, brain, pelvis, and bones. The device was one of the modern devices with high technology. He also commended the great role of Khalifa Foundation.
In this regard, Citizen AbdulAziz Qablan expressed his happiness for the operation of the CT Scan in the Hospital for helping the people in ending their suffering in relation with travelling abroad for treatment. He also highlighted that his mother had conducted a scan today for making sure of her injury.
It was worth noting that Sheikh Khalifa Hospital was considered as the main hospital in the Socotra Archipelago providing various medical services.
