Distribution of date corps was launched in Qaiso in Qalansiyah today within the encouraging and marketing plan for purchasing corps supported by Khalifa Foundation.
Receiving dates and corps was after four months of continuous care by Khalifa Foundation for palms in Socotra. This was a step in order to support the Foundation with seeds and wrapping materials in addition to training courses to improve skills of farmers for efficient methods.
Engineer Eyad, Agricultural Official at Khalifa Foundation, assured that the Representative of Foundation, His Excellency Khalfan Al Marouei, paid a great attention to agriculture, as he had an annual agriculture plan in order to organize work of farms and sustain production as long as possible.
In this regard, Hassan Mohamed, one of citizens in Qaiso, expressed his thanks and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation for support and concern with farmers in relation with marketing their products.
It was worth noting that Khalifa Foundation provided technical and financial support as necessary to product high-quality corps. Engineers of Khalifa Foundation regularly visited farms and provided all kinds of technical and scientific support.
