Socotra Online
A wide campaign of cleaning launched in different streets and markets in Socotra with support and participation of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation before Eid Al Adha.
The campaign aimed at removing the accumulated waste in streets, markets and public parks in order to keep the city clean in these holy days of Eid Al Adha reflecting a good appearance of the city.
In this regard, the people of Socotra highly appreciated the efforts of team of Khalifa Foundation, which have worked hard to promote the positive side of the Archipelago in addition to their effective role towards the people of Socotra. They also highlighted the importance of this campaign as a positive step to prevent diseases caused because of waste.
