Police Department in the Socotra Archipelago received ten latest vehicles from the United Arab Emirates as a first batch aiming at supporting the security authority on the Island.
This support is in line with the plan approved by the United Arab Emirates aiming at improvement of security forces in different ways contributing to maintenance of security and spreading safety and security among the people.
The security sector had priority of support by the United Arab Emirates, as it aimed at refurbishment of police stations and training and qualifying staff. In addition, the United Arab Emirates provided police stations with required systems, equipment and computers.
