Today Monday, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation transported seven patients from Socotra to be treated in UAE hospitals in line with its limitless support in relation with the hard and critical cases on the Island.
Dr. Yahia Omar Al Kanadi, Administrative Director of Sheikh Khalifa Hospital in Socotra, highlighted that the patients transported to UAE today were different cases including breaks, urethritis, and heart diseases. He also highlighted that some cases that were transported today, had medical reports for abroad treatment.
He assured that the Hospital worked around the clock to provide the people with the required treatment. In addition, the critical and hard cases were followed-up by specialized doctors in order to issue a medical report for abroad treatment on the cost of Khalifa Foundation.
It was worth noting that His Excellency Khalfan Al Mazrouei, Representative of Khalifa Foundation, paid a great attention to support to the health sector in Socotra, and issued instructions and provided facilities to transport hard and critical cases for treatment in the United Arab Emirates with special flights configured with specialized medical teams. In addition, Khalifa Foundation provides regular flights to transport patients on Monday and Thursday weekly.
