Khalifa Foundation sent an ambulance ship to Abd Al Kuri Island to transport two patients; one woman suffering from throat pain due to inflammation resulting from previous surgery and a young man suffering from shoulder dislocation due to motorbike accident.
This initiative was in response to calls and telegraphs sent by the people of Abd Al Kuri to Khalifa Foundation, since it was a remote island with lack of various essential services.
In a special statement to Socotra Online, Abdullah Salem Said Mansour, son of one of the patients and resident in Abd Al Kuri Island, said that Khalifa Foundation was the hope and real support to the people as it responded to their calls quickly. He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation for this great humanitarian role in addition to its continuous presence.
It was worth noting that Khalifa Foundation dedicated two ships for ensuring requirements for the people of Abd Al Kuri and Samha Islands.
