With diligent work and accelerated efforts, the engineering teams of the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation continued to implement the works of the project to connect the ground cables in the Sheikh Zayed neighborhood in the Dihmed district.
An official source explained that Khalifa Foundation was keen to quickly complete the electrical project for the Sheikh Zayed neighborhood and operated the cables from the Sheikh Zayed 3 station for the Year of Tolerance in the Alama area within the next few days.
Socotra Online met with the sheikhs of the region to get acquainted with their impression with the near completion of the project, where the beginning was with Sheikh Aref Saeed Abdullah, who praised the engineering team’s interest in servicing the electric current in Zayed neighborhood, which was one of the largest neighborhoods in the western coastal strip and was in great need for this service important.
Sheikh Aref highly valued the Emirati efforts in implementing the service project, which was among a series of service and development projects on the island.
Sheikh Ali Saleh bin Ahmed expressed his happiness and the people of Sheikh Zayed neighborhood, to complete the electricity service for the neighborhood, especially as people are coming to the blessed month of Ramadan and are in dire need of electricity.
In turn, Abdullah Saeed Abdullah expressed his happiness for the great efforts made by the engineering teams in the speedy completion of the project to connect the electricity to the Sheikh Zayed neighborhood, and that its residents need this service.
Sheikh Abdullah Jamaan said that he was pleased with the level of completion of work in the ground network of the Zayed neighborhood, pointing out that the electricity service was one of the basic services provided by the Khalifa bin Zayed to the Socotri citizen.
