Yesterday, Tuesday, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Hospital in Socotra launched the biopsy process for endocrine patients.
An official at the hospital said that the inauguration of biopsy process taken from thyroid, breast and lymphatic cases came after the arrival of Dr. Mahmoud Ghallab, an interventional radiologist, to the hospital, in preparation for examination in the UAE to determine the type of disease and the medical intervention required for each case.
He pointed out that the withdrawal process lasts 6 days, within the framework of the permanent hospital administration’s keenness to organize visits to senior consultants in various medical specialties to perform difficult operations and examine critical cases on the island to alleviate the suffering of patients in the archipelago.
For his part, Dr. Mahmoud Ghallab, Interventional Radiologist, said that samples were taken from a number of patients in the hospital, and we would continue until next week to take samples from all patients in preparation for their examination and identification of the problems they suffer and the necessary intervention.
The patients expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the brothers in the UAE for their continuous support to the medical sector and alleviating their suffering.
