The Air Rescue Unit of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation organized an introductory air reconnaissance tour for a number of children on the island on a helicopter.
Dozens of children participated in the inspection tour that toured the city of Hadiboh and its suburbs, as part of the Sultan Ali bin Isa bin Afrar Heritage Festival, which was held with the support of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation and in coordination with the Office of the Ministry of Culture.
The children participating in the flight expressed their happiness at witnessing the capital, Hadiboh, and the neighboring villages, and the wonderful and joyful scenes contained in the valleys and mountains, in a scene that was achieved for them for the first time.
The child, Maria Naef, said that we were happy to participate in the introductory tour by helicopter, and the beautiful and wonderful scenes that they witnessed.
Al-Mikhlafi thanked the Khalifa Humanitarian Foundation for providing the opportunity to board the plane and get to know the capital, Hadiboh, and its villages, by helicopter.
Mohamed Abdel Halim Al-Seyoufi expressed his deep satisfaction with the helicopter air tour and the aerial view of the capital, Hadiboh, which was very wonderful view and scene.
He appreciated the efforts of the United Arab Emirates and the Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Action to allow the children of Socotra to participate in the Socotra Poet, as well as in this first special air tour for the children of Socotra.
