The Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation provided the residents of Qadeb city in the western coastline with domestic gas.
The Foundation was keen to know the gas needs of the residents of Qadeb city, and a convoy loaded with 120 gas cylinders followed, to meet the residents’ needs of the substance that is lacking in the local market.
As this came within the service efforts that Khalifa Foundation provided to the people of the island to improve their standard of living and that they suffer in the service and life aspects.
This has helped alleviate the suffering of heads of families who are facing difficulties in obtaining the material, and it is also one of the contributing factors that led to the reduction of the logging exposed to the unique vegetation cover of the island.
The sheikhs and people of Qadeb expressed their thanks and gratitude to the United Arab Emirates for the great services it provides in their daily lives, including the provision of gas, which was carried out on a daily basis on Socotra, and the suffering of hundreds of families in this aspect.
