Qalansiyah is the second largest city in the Socotra Archipelago, after Hadiboh. People of Qalansiyah has suffered a lot from the interrupted services over long decades.
The support of the UAE teams in Socotra has helped in achievement of unpreceded quality transformation in different aspects in the whole Island, especially Qalansiyah.
Socotra Online was present to reflect feedback of people of Qalansiyah about achievements of the UAE teams in the city. Mr. Essa Saeed Al Hakmi, Director General of Qalansiyah, mentioned that Qalansiyah has been suffering from lack of services before the generous support by the UAE hands of charity. He added that Qalansiyah witnessed better services for better life nowadays.
He added that Qalansiyah Hospital has been the main destination for all patients across the city, which helped in providing them with better health and medical care services. Finally, he expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation for the generous support.
In turn, Mr. Ali Fadl Abdel Aziz Al Arqabi, Former Director of Education Office in Qalansiyah, commended all efforts by Khalifa Foundation and UAE hands of charity in Socotra, which achieved better life and better services for all people across the Island, especially Qalansiyah.
Mr. Faisal Saleh Moaz, Head of Human Rights Directorate in Local Authority of Transitional Council in the Socotra Archipelago, highlighted that Khalifa Foundation contributed to all fields and aspects of life in Socotra and Qalansiyah. He also thanked the UAE leaders and people for the great support at all times.
