The support provided by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works to Socotra was of great importance in stabilizing the social and living situation of its residents.
Where Khalifa Foundation supports the service and vital sectors and provides their requirements to upgrade the services it provides to the people of Socotra, including electricity, which operates 24 hours, and Khalifa Hospital, which is the mother hospital in the governorate, where it witnessed a development in its medical services and the opening of various departments for the first time on the island, as well as support for education By contracting with a large number of teachers to fill the shortage of educational staff and make the educational process successful, in addition to scholarships, distribution of textbooks, transfer of students and other unlimited support provided by the UAE to this sector, and other sectors that witness continuous support from the Khalifa Foundation to create stability and development of Socotra and its children.
The Foundation is also keen to meet the requirements of the people in remote villages at the island level, especially in the necessary service aspects such as water, electricity and other services to relieve them of the burdens of daily life.
All these efforts made by the men of Zayed Al-Khair, may God rest his soul. They are the main focus in the life of the Socotri man, as they included the various and important sectors in the daily public life of the person.
