Today, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation has operated tanks of potable water to the villages and areas of the Qabhattan, west of Socotra, which suffer from water scarcity.
This comes as part of the campaign and humanitarian initiative of Khalifa Foundation to alleviate the suffering of the people of rural areas in Socotra, which suffer from drought as a result of the delay in rainfall in its usual season.
The people of the Qabhattan expressed their happiness with the initiative of Khalifa Foundation, which always works to help them overcome many difficulties, stressing that connecting Khalifa Foundation to drinking water tanks constantly is a beautiful step for the people of the district.
